Champagne Le Bullet Brut is a tribute to the optimism and joy of life at the turn of the last century. Its name plays with the French word les bulles (bubbles) and the barn swallow, which surges like a bullet to enjoy the ripening grapes on the vines. The grapes are sourced from the prestigious regions of Vallée de la Marne, Aube, and Côte des Blancs, and the blend consists of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay.
The aromas reveal refined floral notes alongside fresh apple and citrus. The dry and creamy palate is enhanced by soft bubbles, leading to an elegant and seductive finish.
Champagne Le Bullet Rosé is crafted from the finest vineyards in Vallée de la Marne, Montagne de Reims, Côte de Sézanne, and Aube. Its blend of Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.
Here the bigger portion of Chardonnay creates a perfectly balanced combination of fruitiness, freshness, and delicate toasty notes to support the apple notes of the red grapes. The aromas offer ripe fruit, apple, and nuanced toastiness, while the dry palate is vibrant with refreshing acidity, soft mousse, and subtle berry undertones.
Le Bullet Piaf is a premium champagne inspired by the little bird and presented in a half-bottle size. Made from hand-picked grapes, partially sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, its blend consists of Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, with a significant proportion of carefully selected reserve wine.
Its rich and complex aromas offer notes of ripe yellow fruit, lemon, spices, and toast. The dry palate is dominated by a generous mousse, where toasty nuances blend seamlessly with caramelised fruit, creating a refined and well-balanced experience.
Maison Burtin’s champagne house is based in Épernay, a town cherished by champagne lovers. In close collaboration, Viinitie and Maison Burtin launched Le Bullet in spring 2020. Its name and design refer to the barn swallow—symbolizing freedom and hope—as well as the lively bubbles of champagne. Le Bullet also pays homage to the joyful turn-of-the-century spirit and democratic values, offering a value-driven way to enjoy life to the fullest.
Soon after, the champagne gained a “little sibling” named Piaf. Both champagnes are available in Finland and Norway, with the rosé version debuting in Germany in fall 2024 and officially being launched in Finland on Valentine’s Day 2025.
Maison Burtin stands out for its vast vineyard holdings—600 hectares in 107 Champagne villages—and its remarkable 15 km of underground cellars. Reserve wines are stored in cement tanks to enrich each vintage, and bottles mature for several years. Wines are aged under crown caps, with bottling quality controlled both automatically and manually.
